The Chinese Embassy in Hungary resumes accepting long-term study visa applications for academic education in China from now on. 

1. Students studying in China can apply for a long-term study visa (X1) by presenting the "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW201/JW202) and the original school admission notice/return to school certificate.

2. Family members of students studying in China can apply for long term visiting (S1) or short term visiting (S2) visas to China with the invitation letter, residence permit or visa for study, and proof of kinship between the applicant and the student studying in China.

3. Visa applications for short-term study(X2) with non-academic education are not accepted for the time being.

4. Applicants should fill in the visa application form and make an appointment online as required.

5. From 00:00 on August 24th, Beijing time, foreign students who hold a valid residence permit for study will be allowed to enter China, and the relevant persons do not need to apply for a study visa again.

*When making an appointment for a visa application at the embassy, applicants should send the JW form together with the school admission notice/return certificate to the education team of our embassy to the email address: studyinchina.hu@gmail.com. If the original copy of the above mentioned materials can not be obtained in time due to special reasons, please communicate with the education team when sending the materials.
